Operations Manager - Remote Programs

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking non-profit organization serving vulnerable populations nationwide, is seeking a highly organized and adaptable Operations Manager . This position will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our services through remote channels, supporting beneficiaries across South Africa. Working entirely remotely, you will manage the logistical and administrative aspects of our digital programs, ensuring accessibility, quality, and impact for those we serve, particularly focusing on initiatives reaching the communities around Port Elizabeth and beyond.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operational logistics of remote programs, ensuring seamless service delivery.

• Manage and optimize digital platforms and tools used for program delivery and beneficiary engagement.

• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for remote service provision.

• Coordinate with program staff, technology teams, and external partners to address operational challenges.

• Monitor operational performance metrics and identify areas for efficiency improvements.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational standards in a remote setting.

• Manage inventory and distribution of resources to remote beneficiaries when applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a non-profit or remote-first environment.

• Strong understanding of project management principles and process optimization.

• Proficiency with cloud-based productivity suites and collaboration tools.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex logistics remotely.

• Experience working with diverse communities and understanding the challenges of remote service delivery.
