Responsibilities Listen to audio recordings and produce accurate, verbatim transcriptions in Pashto Capture filler words, repetitions, and false starts to ensure high-quality data Add speaker labels for multi-speaker recordings involving 2–8 participants Insert precise timestamps for text segments with 500ms accuracy Annotate non-speech events such as laughter, background noise, or unclear audio Follow detailed project instructions and maintain high quality standards Requirements Expert-level fluency in Pashto, including familiarity with regional accents and informal speech Strong listening comprehension and high attention to detail Ability to produce verbatim transcriptions, including stutters and repetitions Access to a laptop or desktop computer (mobile devices are not supported) Reliable internet connection Availability for 20+ hours per week Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in transcription, annotation, or linguistics Benefits Fully remote work opportunity Flexible scheduling with work that can be completed at any time of day Consistent workload with approximately 4 hours of work available per day About the Company
