Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis and modeling of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems using specialized software.
  • Design and optimize power system configurations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies for integrating renewable energy sources into existing grid infrastructure.
  • Conduct load flow studies, short-circuit analysis, and stability studies to assess system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Prepare technical reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Stay current with advancements in power system technology, grid modernization, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Systems.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in power system analysis, design, or operations.
  • Proficiency with power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD).
  • Strong understanding of power system stability, protection, and control principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
