This multi-grade, geographically remote opportunity is an ideal opportunity for the applicant who:
Has an interest in geographically remote teaching (approximately 110 km west of Williams Lake, in the community of Likely, BC) Has the ability to teach a wide variety of subjects and grade levels in primary multi-grade settings Has the desire to be surrounded by nature Has the ability to work well with First Nations communities Is comfortable with basic amenities Has adequate transportation that would be appropriate for all weather highways Special Qualifications Required Training and experience teaching multigrades at the primary level Training and experience teaching kindergarten Experience working in geographically remote locations (or relevant life experience living in geographically remote locations) Valid BC Teaching Certification with the Teacher Regulation Branch Salary and Allowances
The salary of this assignment is based on our current salary grid and upon verification of your BC TQS as well as verification of years of service from previous employers.
