Scope:
Project 1: EXTERN Domain Decommission Project
The EXTERN Domain Decommission Project is a Technology Debt Mitigation initiative focused on retiring the EXTERN Active Directory domain as an enterprise authentication service.
Once all applications are transitioned, remaining EXTERN user accounts and supporting infrastructure will be fully decommissioned, reducing legacy security risk and supporting the GOAs cybersecurity strategy. The project improves security, governance, and traceability by enabling standardized vulnerability scanning and consistent DevOps practices.
