Partners come from leading City, national and international firms, senior in‑house roles, and established boutique or independent practices. This may be as an individual practitioner or with a view to building and growing a team.

Collaborative approach You value working alongside like‑minded colleagues, sharing opportunities and contributing to a supportive international community. • An active practising certificate/ license to practice law with no restrictions • Willingness to operate on a self‑employed basis Our recruitment process Step 1 Introductory video call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team.

Step 2 First meeting with a member of the senior management team in the relevant jurisdiction. Step 3 Second meeting with another member of the management team or with a colleague from a relevant location or practice area.

Step 5 Onboarding & training on our systems and meeting various members of our support team (including marketing, accounts and technology). We advise businesses and individuals across jurisdictions, combining technical excellence with commercial insight and a genuinely collaborative culture.

We are proud to be globally connected and locally invested. Legal expertise You will be a recognised expert in your field, typically with a minimum of 8 years’ post‑qualification experience. Spencer West is consistently recognised in legal directories, reflecting the firm’s depth of expertise and commitment to excellence.

Entrepreneurial mindset You will have the ambition and growth mindset to run your own practice. Client‑centric You will have an established or developing client following and a commitment to building long‑term client relationships and growing your practice. Step 4 Background checks are conducted.
