Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting insurance liabilities.

  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Communicate complex actuarial concepts and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Progress towards or completion of actuarial qualifications (e.g., Society of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an actuarial role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong proficiency in actuarial modeling software, programming languages (e.g., Python, R), and SQL.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
