You will be responsible for planning and executing drone-based aerial surveys for crop monitoring, precision agriculture, and data collection. Your analysis of the collected data will provide actionable insights to farmers and agricultural businesses, driving efficiency and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities • Plan and conduct safe and effective drone flights for agricultural mapping, imaging, and data acquisition. • Operate various types of agricultural drones and associated sensor payloads (e.g., multispectral, thermal). • Process and analyze aerial imagery and sensor data to identify crop health issues, nutrient deficiencies, and irrigation needs. • Generate detailed reports and visualizations for clients, highlighting key findings and recommendations for precision agriculture. • Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations regarding drone operation and data privacy.

Requirements • Valid drone pilot license/certification (e.g., SACAA Remote Pilot Licence). • Proven experience as a drone pilot, with specific experience in agricultural applications. • Proficiency in drone flight planning software and data analysis platforms (e.g., Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Agisoft). • Strong understanding of agricultural principles and crop management. • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting .
