About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Agronomist to provide expert guidance and support to agricultural producers across various regions. This role leverages technology to deliver agronomic advice, analyze farm data, and recommend best practices for crop management and soil health, regardless of physical location. You will be instrumental in helping clients optimize their yields and sustainability efforts through virtual consultation and data-driven insights. Key Responsibilities
- Provide remote agronomic advice and recommendations on crop planning, planting, fertilization, and pest management.
- Analyze soil test results, weather data, and farm performance metrics to develop customized crop management plans.
- Utilize farm management software and remote sensing tools to monitor crop health and field conditions.
- Educate clients on best practices for sustainable agriculture, water management, and soil conservation.
- Develop and deliver webinars, training materials, and technical documentation for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery to agricultural producers.
Requirements
- Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agricultural Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agronomist, with a strong track record in crop production and soil science.
- Proficiency in using farm management software, data analysis tools, and digital agronomy platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear advice remotely.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet client needs in a virtual environment.
