Remote AI Platform Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Remote AI Platform Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers their cutting‑edge AI initiatives. In this fully remote role, you will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable AI/ML platforms, ensuring our data scientists and engineers have the tools and resources they need to innovate effectively. You will focus on creating robust MLOps pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and optimizing performance for large-scale AI workloads. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient AI/ML platforms and infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning models (MLOps).
• Implement and manage containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) for AI workloads.
• Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to understand their infrastructure needs.
• Automate operational tasks and improve platform efficiency through scripting and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with a focus on AI/ML infrastructure .
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their managed AI/ML services.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MLOps tools and practices is highly desirable.
• Solid understanding of Python or other relevant scripting languages.
