Who should apply

We are not looking for general translators, freelancers, or content writers. We are looking for the top 1% of literary and linguistic experts deeply grounded in the Gujarati language and its intellectual traditions.

You should meet most or all of the following:

• Native fluency in Gujarati (reading and writing)
• Strong command of English (for prompt interpretation and evaluation)
• Deep academic, research, or intellectual expertise in Gujarati literature and/or linguistics, such as:
• Gujarati literary traditions (Narmad, Govardhanram Tripathi, contemporary authors)
• Bhakti, reformist, and modern literary movements in Gujarati
• Gujarati poetry, fiction, drama, and essay traditions
• Linguistics of Gujarati (dialects, sociolinguistics, language change)
• Folk literature, oral narratives, and regional storytelling traditions
• PhD, MPhil, or Master’s degree preferred, but credible and extensive experience in the field will also be considered
• Passion for linguistic precision, literary depth, and cultural nuance
• Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.

Your Role

• Design advanced, culturally rich prompts in Gujarati that challenge state‑of-the‑art AI models
• Evaluate AI outputs for literary nuance, linguistic accuracy, tone, and regional relevance
• Identify blind spots where AI misrepresents cultural context, literary traditions, or linguistic subtleties
• Contribute examples rooted in Gujarati literature, history, media, and lived cultural experience
• Collaborate with an international expert network shaping how AI understands Indian languages and knowledge systems
