Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze aircraft engine components and systems, focusing on performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Conduct simulations and performance modeling using advanced engineering software.
- Collaborate remotely with manufacturing, testing, and certification teams to oversee product development.
- Develop technical specifications and documentation for new engine designs and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering challenges related to propulsion systems.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and advancements in aerospace propulsion.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in propulsion.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in aircraft engine design and analysis.
- Strong expertise in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science as applied to jet engines.
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as ANSYS, CFX, or similar.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated track record of innovation in propulsion system development.
