About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and motivated Remote Aircraft Systems Analyst to join their expanding virtual engineering team, supporting operations that involve aircraft in the Welkom area and beyond. This position focuses on analyzing aircraft performance data, identifying trends, optimizing system efficiency, and contributing to proactive maintenance strategies from a remote location. You will leverage advanced data analytics tools and your deep understanding of aircraft systems to enhance operational reliability and safety, working collaboratively with on-site teams and contributing to critical decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze vast datasets from aircraft systems to identify performance anomalies, trends, and potential failure points.
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance models to minimize downtime and operational costs.
• Generate comprehensive reports and present findings and recommendations to engineering and operations management.
• Collaborate with on-site technical teams to validate analysis and support troubleshooting efforts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection, analysis methodologies, and reporting tools.
• Stay abreast of advancements in aircraft systems technology and data analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience in aircraft systems analysis or performance monitoring.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) and database management.
• Excellent understanding of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and propulsion.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote , self-directed environment.
