Remote Airworthiness Compliance Specialist

Our client is seeking an astute and detail-oriented Remote Airworthiness Compliance Specialist to ensure that all aircraft operations and maintenance activities strictly adhere to national and international aviation regulations. This crucial role involves continuous monitoring of regulatory changes, developing and implementing compliance policies, and conducting internal audits to guarantee adherence. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, interpret, and disseminate updates on aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA, SACAA) affecting airworthiness and operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies, procedures, and manuals.
• Conduct regular internal audits and assessments of maintenance, operations, and quality systems to identify and address non-compliance issues.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities during audits and inspections, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Provide expert guidance and training to operational staff on airworthiness requirements and best practices.
• Investigate compliance breaches, develop corrective action plans, and track their effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation compliance, quality assurance, or regulatory affairs.
• In-depth knowledge of international and local aviation regulations pertaining to airworthiness.
• Strong understanding of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate effectively with remote teams.
