What we're looking for Essential • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse • Minimum 2 years' post-registration nursing experience within a rural / remote community • Strong emergency, acute or primary healthcare experience • Ability to work confidently and independently • Current Australian Driver's Licence Highly desirable – Access to our highest paying contracts Candidates with the following qualifications are highly sought after and may be eligible for a broader range of contracts and higher rates of pay: • REC (Remote Emergency Care) • MEC (Medical Emergency Care) • Pharmacotherapeutics (PHARMACO) completed, currently studying or already booked • 4WD training and experience for remote community driving Compliance requirements Successful applicants will be required to provide: • Current AHPRA Registration • National Police Check (Dated within the past 6 months) • Working With Children Check (Dated within the past 6 months) • Immunisation evidence • Relevant mandatory training About MARS Healthcare MARS Healthcare is one of Australia's leading healthcare recruitment specialists, connecting nurses with contract, casual and permanent opportunities nationwide.
