About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Remote Aromatherapist and Product Developer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the creation of premium, natural wellness products. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for developing unique essential oil blends, formulating new aromatherapy products, and providing expert consultation on the therapeutic benefits of essential oils. You will work closely with the product development team, contributing your specialized knowledge to enhance existing lines and conceptualize new offerings. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine unique essential oil formulations for a range of aromatherapy products, including diffusers, massage oils, skincare, and personal care items.
• Research and select high-quality essential oils and carrier ingredients, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Formulate new product concepts from ideation through to initial prototyping and testing phases.
• Provide expert advice on the therapeutic properties and safe application of essential oils for various health and wellness applications.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product descriptions, educational content, and usage guidelines.
• Conduct quality control assessments on raw materials and finished products to ensure consistency and efficacy.

Requirements

• Certified Aromatherapist qualification from a recognized institution (e.g., NAHA, IFPA, ARC).
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in aromatherapy formulation and product development.
• Strong understanding of essential oil chemistry, safety profiles, and therapeutic applications.
• Experience in product formulation, including knowledge of different product bases and preservatives.
• Ability to conduct independent research and stay updated on industry advancements.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
