About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Remote Athletic Director to lead and shape their sports programs. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, development, and oversight of all athletic initiatives, ensuring a commitment to athletic excellence, student-athlete welfare, and sportsmanship. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for all athletic programs, setting goals and objectives for athletic achievement and participation.
• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and professional development of coaches and athletic staff.
• Manage the athletic department budget, including fundraising, resource allocation, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant athletic governing body rules, regulations, and policies.
• Promote a culture of integrity, sportsmanship, and student-athlete well-being across all teams.
• Foster strong relationships with parents, alumni, and the wider community to support and enhance athletic initiatives.

Requirements

• Significant experience in athletic administration, preferably at a director or senior management level.
• Demonstrated success in developing and managing successful sports programs.
• Expertise in budget management, strategic planning, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of athletic compliance and eligibility rules.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, adept at remote collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Education, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
