About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and vigilant Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to bolster their digital defenses, operating fully remotely and connected to the automotive hub in East London . In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity threats within connected vehicle systems and associated infrastructure. You will work with advanced security tools, analyze threat intelligence, and develop robust strategies to protect vehicle software and data integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor automotive networks and systems for security breaches, intrusions, and other cybersecurity incidents.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on vehicle software and connected services.
- Develop and implement security protocols and incident response plans for automotive systems.
- Analyze threat intelligence and security trends to proactively defend against emerging cyber risks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security measures into the vehicle development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst , with experience in embedded systems or IoT security being a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 21434, UN R155).
- Proficiency with security analysis tools, SIEM platforms, and network monitoring solutions.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to respond effectively to security incidents.
