About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Remote Automotive Logistics Coordinator to manage the flow of automotive parts and vehicles within their supply chain. Working entirely remotely from anywhere in South Africa, you will coordinate shipments, manage inventory levels, and liaise with suppliers, manufacturers, and transportation providers. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of automotive components and finished vehicles, supporting the operational efficiency of our client's business. You will leverage technology to track shipments and optimize logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the shipment and tracking of automotive parts, components, and vehicles across various locations.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing holding costs.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve logistical issues and ensure on-time delivery.
• Utilize logistics software and systems to plan, schedule, and monitor transportation routes.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and costs, preparing regular reports.
• Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes for efficiency and cost savings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of transportation modes, inventory management, and international shipping procedures.
