About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote Automotive Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design and development of innovative automotive components and systems. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic international team. You will lever your expertise in automotive engineering principles to create cutting-edge designs, conduct detailed analyses, and support product validation. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive mechanical components and systems using advanced CAD software .
- Perform comprehensive performance analysis , including structural, thermal, and vibration simulations.
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for production.
- Collaborate closely with a global, remote team of engineers and product specialists through virtual communication channels.
- Support product validation and testing activities, analyzing results and implementing design improvements.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the automotive industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design and development.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and chassis design.
- Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively from a distance.
