About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality in their vehicle components and systems. Working entirely remotely, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive quality assurance strategies, testing procedures, and compliance protocols. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our client's products, contributing to their reputation for excellence in the automotive industry. You'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and product teams to identify potential issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety from your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and quality assurance strategies for automotive components and software.
- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant automotive industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automotive quality assurance or testing roles.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Experience with test automation tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote teamwork.
