About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Quality Assurance Inspector to join their team, based remotely with operational oversight potentially extending to areas near Port Elizabeth . This role is critical in ensuring the quality and compliance of automotive components and processes from a distance. You will utilize digital tools, documentation review, and remote communication to assess adherence to quality standards and specifications. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in automotive manufacturing or quality control, capable of working independently and maintaining high standards in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote inspections and audits of automotive parts and manufacturing processes using provided digital tools and protocols.
• Review technical documentation, including blueprints, specifications, and quality reports, to ensure compliance.
• Identify and document non-conformities, defects, and areas for improvement with detailed reports.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders, including manufacturing teams and quality managers.
• Monitor corrective action plans and follow up to ensure effective implementation.
• Stay current with automotive industry quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO/TS 16949).

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive quality assurance, inspection, or a related manufacturing role.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, tools, and methodologies within the automotive sector.
