About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary Remote Automotive Systems Engineer to lead the integration and development of complex vehicle systems. In this role, you will be responsible for defining system requirements, architectural design, and ensuring the seamless interaction of various automotive components and software, all from the convenience of your remote workspace. You will work on cutting-edge projects related to electric vehicles, autonomous driving, and connected car technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Define system requirements and specifications for automotive subsystems, considering performance, safety, and integration aspects.
  • Develop system architecture and design for complex automotive applications, including powertrain, chassis, and ADAS systems.
  • Oversee the integration of hardware and software components, ensuring interoperability and optimal performance.
  • Conduct system-level testing, validation, and performance analysis, identifying and resolving integration issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, in a remote setting.
  • Manage system development timelines, risks, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in automotive systems engineering, with a focus on system integration and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain, ADAS, or electric vehicle systems.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS) and methodologies.
  • Experience with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) and diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
