Remote Automotive UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client, a leader in automotive software development, is looking for a creative and experienced Remote Automotive UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive and engaging user interfaces for their in-car digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and user researchers to translate complex requirements into seamless, user-friendly designs. Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces for automotive infotainment systems, dashboards, and mobile applications.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user needs and insights.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation of UI elements.
• Create and maintain comprehensive design style guides and component libraries for consistency across all products.
• Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly within the automotive sector.
• Present design solutions and rationale clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital product design work.
• Proven experience designing for complex systems, ideally within the automotive or embedded software industry.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote , asynchronous environment.
