About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Remote Aviation Regulatory Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to all relevant aviation laws and standards for their operations, remotely supporting teams often near Randburg. This role involves meticulous research, interpretation, and application of complex aviation regulations from various authorities. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, advising internal teams on compliance requirements, and developing strategies to maintain our excellent compliance record. This position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the significant responsibility of ensuring our operations meet the highest legal and safety standards in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze changes in national and international aviation regulations.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with SACAA, ICAO, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation and audit trails.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess adherence to regulations and identify potential risks.
- Provide expert guidance and training to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance matters.
- Investigate compliance issues and support the development of corrective action plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrable experience in aviation regulatory compliance or legal affairs.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation laws, safety standards, and certification processes.
- Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
