About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented Remote Aviation Regulatory Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to all applicable aviation laws and regulations across their global operations. This role is crucial for maintaining operational integrity and avoiding legal and financial penalties. You will be responsible for monitoring regulatory changes, developing compliance strategies, and advising stakeholders on best practices. Working remotely, you will collaborate with legal, operations, and safety teams to interpret complex regulations and implement robust compliance programs, ensuring the company operates at the highest standards from anywhere in the world.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret aviation regulations from various authorities (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA, ICAO).
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments, identifying potential areas of non-compliance.
• Prepare and submit required documentation and reports to regulatory bodies.
• Advise management and operational teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Manage and maintain regulatory certifications and approvals for the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Law, Business Administration, Aviation Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation regulatory compliance.
• Extensive knowledge of aviation laws, regulations, and international standards.
• Experience with developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of working independently and remotely from Mahikeng or other locations.
