About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled Remote BIM Architect to join their innovative design team, working from anywhere in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage comprehensive BIM models for architectural projects from concept to construction documentation. • Collaborate effectively with remote project teams, including architects, engineers, and consultants, using BIM platforms. • Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and best practices within the project team. • Generate detailed drawings, schedules, and reports directly from BIM models. • Conduct clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design conflicts. • Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and workflows.

Requirements • Degree in Architecture or a related field, with a strong focus on BIM. • Minimum of 6 years of experience in architectural design with at least 4 years specializing in BIM. • Expert proficiency in Revit and a thorough understanding of BIM principles and workflows. • Experience with other BIM-related software (e.g., Navisworks, BIM 360) is highly advantageous. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working in a remote team setting. • Proven ability to manage complex models and ensure data integrity.
