Remote BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Remote BIM Coordinator to play a key role in enhancing project delivery through Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing BIM standards, managing BIM models, and coordinating with project teams across various disciplines. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating collaboration, improving design accuracy, and optimizing construction workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards , protocols, and workflows for projects.
• Manage and coordinate BIM models from all project disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP).
• Conduct clash detection and resolution processes to identify and address design conflicts.
• Generate reports on model quality, progress, and compliance with BIM requirements.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM software and best practices to project teams.
• Collaborate remotely with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure effective BIM integration.
• Assist in the creation of BIM execution plans and ensure their adherence throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM coordination or management.
• Proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant platforms.
• Strong understanding of BIM standards, processes, and their application in construction.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, adapted for remote work.
• Experience with clash detection and model aggregation is essential.
