Remote Biostatistician

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Biostatistician to join their research and development team on a fully remote basis. This position is critical for designing statistical analysis plans, performing complex statistical analyses, and interpreting results for clinical trials and other research projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the scientific rigor and validity of our client's pharmaceutical research, providing essential statistical expertise from anywhere in the country. Key Responsibilities

• Design statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical studies and research projects.
• Perform statistical analyses using SAS, R, or other statistical software.
• Interpret statistical results and contribute to the preparation of clinical study reports, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with clinical teams, data managers, and other stakeholders to define study objectives and endpoints.
• Ensure statistical methodologies and analyses adhere to regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH) and industry best practices.
• Develop and validate statistical programs and datasets for accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Proficiency in statistical software packages such as SAS (required), R, and S-Plus.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical inference, and modeling techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex statistical concepts.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.
