Remote Blockchain Network Administrator

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Blockchain Network Administrator to manage and maintain their distributed ledger infrastructure. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our blockchain networks, deploying nodes, monitoring network health, and troubleshooting issues. Your role is essential in keeping our decentralized operations running smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain blockchain nodes and network infrastructure across various cloud environments.
• Monitor network performance, uptime, and resource utilization, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and technical support requests in a timely manner.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access and threats.
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning for network components.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in network administration or systems engineering, with a focus on blockchain or distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with operating systems (Linux preferred), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and peer-to-peer networking.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
