About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated Remote Blockchain Security Analyst to join their globally distributed team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks within blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and decentralized applications. You will conduct thorough security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to ensure the integrity and safety of our client's blockchain ecosystem. This role is critical for maintaining trust and security in the fast-paced Crypto & Blockchain industry. You will work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams worldwide, contributing to a secure and robust decentralized future from the comfort of your own home office, making a significant impact on the safety of digital assets and platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive security audits and code reviews of smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
- Identify, assess, and report on vulnerabilities, threats, and risks within blockchain systems.
- Conduct penetration testing and develop remediation strategies for identified security issues.
- Monitor blockchain networks for suspicious activity and potential security breaches.
- Develop and implement security best practices and standards for blockchain development .
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on blockchain security and smart contract auditing.
- Deep understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow).
- Proficiency with security analysis tools and techniques relevant to blockchain technology.
- Experience with static and dynamic analysis of code, particularly in languages like Solidity.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, fully capable of remote work .
