About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Remote Blockchain Solutions Architect to guide the technical strategy and implementation of their blockchain initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in South Africa. You will be responsible for designing and overseeing the development of scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain solutions that align with business objectives. This role is critical for driving innovation in the crypto and blockchain space , and requires a deep understanding of architectural principles and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect comprehensive blockchain solutions for various business use cases.
• Evaluate and recommend blockchain platforms, tools, and technologies.
• Develop technical roadmaps and strategies for blockchain implementation and integration.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of designed blockchain systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical blueprints.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent extensive industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with a strong specialization in blockchain technologies.
• Proven experience in architecting and deploying enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda), consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Experience with smart contract development and security best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills, essential for a remote role.
