About the Role Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Remote Buyer to lead their purchasing efforts from anywhere within South Africa.

In this fully remote role, you will focus on strategic sourcing, developing and implementing cost-effective procurement strategies, and managing supplier relationships to ensure the continuous supply of critical goods and services.

Key Responsibilities • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key categories of spend. • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and ethical standards. • Lead complex negotiations with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms. • Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. • Analyze market trends, economic conditions, and commodity pricing to inform procurement strategies. • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions.
