About the Role Our client is seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Remote Caregiver Support Advisor to provide vital assistance to individuals caring for loved ones. You will offer guidance, resources, and emotional support to caregivers navigating the complexities of health care, daily living, and personal well-being.

Your expertise will help empower caregivers, reduce burnout, and improve the quality of care provided to those in need, potentially serving families in regions such as Richards Bay .

The role involves active listening, problem-solving, and connecting caregivers with appropriate community services and support networks through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities • Provide empathetic, one-on-one support and guidance to family caregivers via phone, video, and email. • Assess caregiver needs and connect them with relevant resources, such as respite care, counseling, and support groups. • Offer practical advice on managing daily care tasks, navigating healthcare systems, and accessing financial aid. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of community support services and resources. • Facilitate virtual caregiver support groups, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.

Requirements • Experience in caregiving , social work, nursing, or a related helping profession. • Excellent listening, empathy, and communication skills. • Proficiency in using video conferencing tools and other remote communication technologies. • Strong research skills to identify and vet local and national caregiver resources. • A background in providing support for individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities is highly desirable.
