Remote Chemical Engineer - Process Optimization

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Remote Chemical Engineer focused on process optimization to join their forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze chemical process data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, focusing on yield enhancement and waste reduction.
• Conduct virtual simulations and modeling to test optimization scenarios before implementation.
• Collaborate with on-site engineering and operations teams to implement process changes remotely.
• Prepare detailed reports and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and chemical engineering.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a specific focus on optimization.
• Strong proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, MATLAB) and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively and communicate efficiently in a remote setting.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
