About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and execute laboratory-scale experiments to explore new chemical pathways and materials.
• Develop and optimize novel chemical processes for synthesis, separation, and purification.
• Utilize advanced modeling and simulation tools to predict process performance and identify key parameters.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, research proposals, and patent applications.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including chemists, materials scientists, and engineers, via virtual platforms.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical engineering and relevant scientific fields.

Requirements

• PhD in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field with a strong R&D background.
• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in chemical process development and research.
• Proven track record in designing and conducting complex experiments, with strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and other relevant simulation software.
• Experience with statistical design of experiments (DoE) and data analysis software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for virtual collaboration and reporting.
