About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Chemical Process Analyst to join their team, supporting operations near Mahikeng. This role focuses on analyzing process data to identify trends, troubleshoot performance issues, and drive continuous improvement in chemical manufacturing. You will utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to provide actionable insights to plant engineers and management. This is a fully remote position requiring strong analytical capabilities and effective digital communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets from chemical manufacturing processes.
• Identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key process performance indicators (KPIs).
• Troubleshoot process issues by analyzing operational data and collaborating remotely with plant personnel.
• Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and recommend corrective actions.
• Stay updated on new analytical techniques and tools for process analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a chemical or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Python with Pandas, R, Excel).
• Experience with process simulation or modeling tools is a plus.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
