Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced process control (APC) strategies for chemical manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain control system logic, HMI screens, and alarming systems.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems to improve process performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with remote engineering and operations teams to define automation requirements and solutions.
• Conduct simulation studies to test and validate control strategies before implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with a strong focus on instrumentation and control.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a significant portion dedicated to industrial automation.
• Proficiency with DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) platforms.
• Experience with modeling and simulation tools for control system design.
