About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical Remote Chemical Process Optimization Engineer to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their chemical manufacturing operations globally. This fully remote position allows you to apply your expertise in data analysis and process modeling from anywhere. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational data from various plants to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to improve stability and performance.
• Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to test and validate optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with on-site engineering and operations teams to implement and monitor process improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining optimization findings and projected benefits.
• Conduct economic feasibility studies for proposed process enhancements and upgrades.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field with a focus on optimization or control.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong emphasis on process optimization and data analysis.
• Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, gPROMS) and statistical analysis tools.
• Experience with advanced process control (APC) and real-time optimization (RTO) systems is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
