Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and procedures.
• Conduct and facilitate Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and risk assessments.
• Review Management of Change (MOC) requests and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs) to ensure safety integrity.
• Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
• Develop and deliver training programs on process safety principles and practices.
• Audit compliance with PSM standards and internal company policies across various operational sites.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of dedicated experience in process safety engineering within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Comprehensive understanding of PSM elements, including PHA, MOC, PSSR, and mechanical integrity.
• Proven experience in facilitating PHAs and conducting incident investigations.
• Strong knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote engagement.
