About the Role

You will be responsible for setting the engineering standards, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective development and operation of mines. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mining engineering strategies and standards across all operations.
• Provide expert technical guidance on mine design, planning, and operational optimization.
• Oversee the evaluation and adoption of new mining technologies and methodologies.
• Lead major capital projects from a technical engineering perspective.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor and develop the engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in mining engineering, with significant leadership roles.
• Extensive experience in mine design , planning, and operational management for both surface and underground mines.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale mining projects and implementing advanced mining technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills .
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage effectively in a remote work environment .
