Our client is seeking a qualified and compassionate Remote Child Psychologist Consultant to offer expert guidance and support to families and educational institutions across Stellenbosch .
Leveraging telehealth, you will conduct virtual assessments, provide counseling services, and develop strategies to address behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges in children.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to expand their reach and impact through remote practice, contributing to an organization dedicated to providing accessible mental health services for children and adolescents nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct remote psychological assessments and evaluations of children and adolescents.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions via secure video conferencing.
• Develop tailored treatment plans and intervention strategies to address various psychological issues.
• Offer consultation and support to parents, educators, and other professionals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Requirements
• Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or Child Psychology.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Significant experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for clinical practice.
• Expertise in child development, psychopathology, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
