Remote Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly competent Remote Civil Engineer with a specialization in infrastructure projects to work from anywhere. This role involves the design, development, and oversight of crucial infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, water systems, and site development. You will utilize advanced engineering principles and software to create detailed plans and ensure projects meet regulatory standards and client requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage systems, and earthworks.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports using CAD and other relevant software.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant local, regional, and national regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with external agencies, clients, and project stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for new infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support throughout the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil infrastructure design.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation).
• Strong understanding of geotechnical principles, hydrology, and transportation engineering.
