Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive transportation plans, including traffic flow analysis, demand forecasting, and network optimization.
- Design transportation infrastructure such as roads, highways, public transit systems, and active transportation facilities.
- Conduct feasibility studies and environmental impact assessments for proposed transportation projects.
- Utilize traffic simulation and modeling software to evaluate design alternatives and predict future performance.
- Collaborate with government agencies, urban planners, and community stakeholders to ensure alignment with development goals.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for project approval and implementation.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Transportation Engineering or Urban Planning.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation planning and design.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is preferred.
- Proficiency in transportation planning software (e.g., VISSIM, TransCAD, Cube) and GIS.
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of traffic engineering principles and modeling techniques.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
