About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Remote Civil Engineer specializing in Water Resources Management to join their globally distributed team. This role focuses on the planning, design, and implementation of sustainable water infrastructure solutions, including water supply, wastewater treatment, and stormwater management systems. You will work on projects that address critical water challenges, collaborating virtually with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, adhering to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution networks, sewer systems, and river basins.
  • Perform feasibility studies, cost estimations, and environmental impact assessments for water resource projects.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documents, and tender submissions for clients worldwide.
  • Collaborate effectively with remote team members, clients, and regulatory bodies through virtual communication channels.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in water resource management technologies and sustainable engineering practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration or equivalent international certification.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in water resources engineering, including design and project management.
  • Proficiency with hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, InfoWorks WS Pro, HEC-RAS).
  • Strong understanding of water quality, treatment processes, and sustainable drainage systems (SuDS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration and documentation.
