Remote Civil Project Manager - Infrastructure Development

About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Remote Civil Project Manager to lead significant infrastructure development initiatives. This is a fully remote position, offering unparalleled flexibility while managing complex projects from initiation to successful completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of driving projects forward in a virtual environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business and client objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Manage project execution, track progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee contract administration and vendor management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project post-mortems and create lessons learned reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering project management , with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects such as roads, utilities, or public works.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills for remote management.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively from a remote location.
