About the Role Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Remote Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee sanitation operations across multiple sites, with a primary focus on supporting teams in the Western Cape region. You will lead a distributed team of cleaning professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

This position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of modern cleaning management practices.

Key Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures remotely. • Oversee operational budgets, resource allocation, and supply chain management for cleaning services. • Conduct virtual site inspections and performance reviews of cleaning teams and supervisors. • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations across all managed sites. • Utilize technology and data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. • Train, mentor, and manage a remote team of cleaning staff and supervisors to ensure high performance standards.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. • Minimum 7 years of experience in cleaning operations management, with a proven track record of success in a remote capacity. • Extensive knowledge of sanitation best practices, cleaning technologies, and regulatory compliance. • Proficiency in using remote management tools, software, and digital communication platforms. • Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a dispersed team effectively.
