About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and communicative Remote Client Catering Liaison to serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their catering needs, primarily supporting events in and around Paarl . This fully remote position requires you to build and maintain strong client relationships, understand their event visions, and translate them into successful catering plans. You will work closely with the internal culinary and operations teams to ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded, managing all communication channels effectively. Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and managing expectations throughout the planning process.
• Develop proposals and customized menu options based on client requirements, budget, and event style.
• Coordinate effectively with chefs and event managers to ensure all catering details are accurately relayed and executed.
• Proactively communicate updates, changes, and essential information to clients in a timely manner.
• Gather client feedback post-event to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for service improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in client relations, sales, or account management within the hospitality or event industry.
• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base.

• Proficiency in using virtual meeting software, email, and CRM systems.
