Remote Cloud Network Engineer - Telecoms

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud network architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Configure and manage virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing, firewalls, and load balancers within cloud environments.
• Develop and automate network provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure robust connectivity and performance for cloud-hosted applications and services.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across hybrid cloud environments and provide timely resolutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on networking and cloud technologies.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with at least 2 years specifically focused on cloud networking.
• Proficiency in designing and managing networks in at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with network automation tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices in cloud environments.
