About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Remote Cloud Security Architect to design and implement robust security solutions for their cloud infrastructure. This fully remote position involves developing security strategies, establishing best practices, and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based assets. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate security seamlessly into cloud environments, mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with global standards. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and implement cloud security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate cloud-specific security risks, including data breaches and unauthorized access.
• Oversee the implementation of security controls such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams on secure DevOps (DevSecOps) practices.
• Stay abreast of emerging cloud security threats and technologies, recommending proactive solutions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on cloud security architecture .
• Proven expertise in designing and securing cloud environments on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and threat modeling.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
